telegram icons are missing. If you can point me to how to create them so they can be added, Ill do it. Otherwise it seems fine in Xfce and Cinnamon desktops.

@bluecoat58 Thanks for reporting.

Would you be able provide screenshots and/or describe which specific icons are missing (app, tray, status, etc) and where they are shown? And also the package format of Telegram you're using (deb, flatpak, snap, appimage, etc)? Thanks.

When installing Telegram on Xubuntu 20.04 the tray-icon is not monochrome. I installed from this ppa:
https://launchpad.net/~atareao/+archive/ubuntu/telegram
in .deb-format, obviously. It installs all the icons, but the tray-icon is not monochrome. So it doesn't really match the other icons in the tray.
One solution, which is not a very beautiful one, is to install ePapirus-icon-theme and then copy the files to the elementary icons:
sudo cp /usr/share/icons/ePapirus/24x24/panel/telegram-* /usr/share/icons/elementary-xfce-darker/24x24/panel
The icons copied are:
telegram-attention-panel.svg telegram-mute-panel.svg telegram-panel.svg
and then restart Telegram.
But having the icons shipped with Elementary-xfce-icons would be much nicer :D
