Modal popup boxes pop up behind publish - mac #16

Modal boxes can pop up behind the publisher in some cases, which can be really confusing for the user. You end up with a state where AE is waiting for input but the modal prompt is hidden behind the TK UI, so it's not clear what is going on.

Note: keeping separate issues for mac and windows. This is the mac one. The windows one is #11

I tagged it with the v0.1 milestone - is that reasonable.
@martinminsel - If this is out of scope for the first iteration, we should let @robblau know!

Hi, yea, I think unfortunately this is a little out of scope, as the window parenting seems broken on mac, and I would have to investigate about the windows-parenting system on mac first.

Can we use the code from the Photoshop engine to bring things forward? We should be at least matching the behavior we've had.

This is a generalized issue on OSX. Only Maya has the dialog on top because Jeff got the fix from Maya team. Other than Maya I think only Houdini behaves correctly.

Ok, definitely not a release blocker. Fine to tackle it via our normal process.
