How to mount a ext4 disk without formating it?

im have a disk with data i need to add to the cluster so i can serve it via nfs how i mount it so i can use it?

im using talos 1.9.3 with the mdadm extension generated by the image factory

i tried to use

    # - device: /dev/disk/by-id/md-uuid-1d5eb541:cb0e7be3:f9a4a508:957f50ee-part1 # The name of the disk to use.
    # - device: /dev/md127p1 # The name of the disk to use.
    - device: /dev/disk/by-uuid/e3e75600-8eda-4581-aca4-106d2d3bcadd
      # A list of partitions to create on the disk.
      partitions:
        - mountpoint: /var/mnt/storage # Where to mount the partition.```
    
i see the devide in discovered volumes
