This repository will be turned into a binder that showcases geophysical inversions with SimPEG. It will be used to make connections with the pangeo group and start conversations about bringing applied geophysics to the cloud and how the computational requirements we have might be considered in the current pangeo framework.

What are some high-impact examples of inversion that we can include in this repository? They should:

• use open data
• potentially scale to large areas or expensive computations (not strictly necessary)
• have an interesting scientific / social / societal aspect
• serve as educational resources on how to use SimPEG
