Failing sub-task replication #23
Comments
Are you saying this API does in fact pull sub-tasks? I'm using this library via Stitchdata and I only see main level tasks. Does the basic tasks extraction pull sub-tasks for you? |
Subtasks do come through the tasks table. The table has a ragged hierarchy, tasks and sub-tasks sit within the same table. You can use the parent_gid to trace the ancestry. |
I have also just encountered this issue in our Asana-Redshift integration via Stitch. Some of the "subtasks" (really just tasks with parent data) sync and some of them do not. I am just now getting into this and thus far have not been able to identify a pattern. Would love to get this patched up if there is any insight. Will post here if we figure anything out. |
I am having the same issue with my Asana-PostgreSQL integration via Stitch. There are many thousands of subtasks in my organization, yet only 100 or so subtasks are recorded in the database (checked by querying which tasks have non-null parent__gid). |
A number of sub-tasks within Asana are failing to replicate resulting in incomplete data.
This does not seem to be tracked within the closed issues but I am surprised I am the first to recognise this.
Any ideas on what could be causing this or any historic records of this happening to other users?
