Lock app is not working on Yosemite #4
Comments
@cotzo i am trying to reproduce it on my computer. it seems to work perfectly fine here. |
@siong1987 hello. thank you for your response. now it's showing the screensaver but not locking up the current user. any idea or can I be of any help with further debug info? |
@cotzo it might have something to do with your settings. check this out: |
Hooking into the functionality provided by Keychain Access is probably a more user friendly method as it does not require user's to fix their Security & Privacy settings - http://apple.stackexchange.com/a/123738/43737. (I've tested this on Yosemite, and it works beautifully.) Alternatively, suspending the session (details also in the link above) works well; although it's not really the same as "Lock Screen" and has it's own set of issues. (This is the action performed by Alfred, when the "lock" command is entered.) |
@joeyhoer thanks a lot. that's exactly what i am looking at. will fix it this weekend. :) |
The lock app is not working, when executing, a screen flicker occurs but the action is not performed
