In what kind of environment? There's not nearly enough information here for someone to help you. Is this in Linux or in Micropython or Arduino or your own SDK code or in some specific video decoder or something totally different still? If it's in images coming from the camera, it may be set for NV21 instead of YV12.

It's possible that something, somewhere is swapping RGB->BGR or that something is doing it twice instead of once. Or that one module is expecting a different packed form of color than what the adjacent module is using.

This request is going to need a LOT more information (like version numbers and a complete, reproducible test case in whatever programming/languages you're using) before this goes very far. Help others help you.
