Answering the question: I have a AA where I know there could be a mod, which are possible. Maybe this could also be generalised as an additional filter on a mass based search, then with a very wide tolerance you will be able to see quite a lot of modifications. The most important part is figuring out how to write down the placement rules, for that take a look at how I did it in align-cli.
