I set up a new Ubuntu 24.04 LTS VM with the newest version of SnipeIT (v7.1.16). I used the installer script from the documentation.
When i now create an asset, i can't see the history of this asset. It looks like the page itself isn't loaded correctly as the searchbar, downloadoptions and so on are missing.

I am using the superadmin user that was created during the setup.

working older instance with v6.3.3 build 12903 (g0f63fa23e)

v7.1.16 build 16564 (gfb857ccf5)

The changes themselves get listed on the dashboard start page of the inventory but are not visible in the history section.

I redid the setup already on a new VM but still its the same issue.

Clear your cookies
In your .env changing BS_TABLE_STORAGE=cookieStorage to BS_TABLE_STORAGE=localStorage.
Clear your config cache (if you use it): php artisan config:clear

By doing what they mentioned, did work out for me.

Note:
i just copy/pasted my text from #16171 so that anyone here gets the news as well. :)
