Note from Ilan:
Will do some more hacking on this throughout the week. My plan is to
break it out in the the following two main milestones:

  1. Test individual each of ffmpeg, gstreamer and wowza to push a an mp4
    of Big Buck Bunny to youtube via RTMP. This will simulate an live
    stream without requiring an actual camera in hand; and gives us an easy
    way to test any caveats of concern from above.
  2. Once we have Check whether we need to boost volume on the videos #1 working, I'd like to sync up with whomever is testing
    gstreamer with our cameras and try to do a camera to youtube test.
