Check mode and Diff mode

I am just trying to understand, why there is supports_check_mode set to False in all the modules and there is no implementation for diff mode. Is there any reason for explicitly disabling check_mode ?

And, I am learning how to build ansible modules, appreciate if any guidance/help to implement diff mode for modules with CRUD operations. Thanks in advance.
