Thanks for this app. It's really a great app, which I want to use.
But I'm missing a possibility to synchronize tasks on an other way as google tasks (e.g. Microsoft-Exchange-Account, Caldav or Funambol (Syncml)).

Is there any plan to implement such feature?

Thanks
Jacob

There are certainly ways to implement them, I just have zero time for it right now.

So it's planned?

I have no experiences in programming, only can help with testing ;-)

Not planned per se. I have thought about it though.

Simplenote is also a candidate

No, as far as I see synchronize only with Simplenote server.
I'm looking for a solution to sync with my own Groupwareserver via ActiveSync.

It's an alternative in the sense of providing options. Obvious candidates are Dropbox, Simplenote, Evernote, ActiveSync.

Maybe #120 would solve that issue (VTODO/CalDAV was just a possibility), @spacecowboy seems inclined to work on file-based sync, so this would naturally work with remote file sync solutions (at least Dropbox, Owncloud...). Is there any progress on this?

How would you feel about an option to sync to a git server? I'm interested in being able to sync to a server I control, and that seems like the simplest option. Is this a dumb idea?

Well you'd need to have an implementation of git accessible on the device and I don't think that's entirely optimal. What about merge-conflicts?

I guess I was thinking of using Git just as a file store, a la git-annex (http://git-annex.branchable.com/), but you're right that that would be a lot of infrastructure for what is basically just secure FTP.

Yes, and then one might as well use SSH directly. But version control would
have been nice in case of sync conflicts :/

That's true, but I think juup is right that for that purpose, you'd be better off using SyncML than trying to have git sort out the conflicts.
