Bigger Text and better description for the Widget #497
Comments
Hello, and thank you for reaching out. Do you want a bigger text size in the widget ? Or is the text size in this app's widget unusually small ? In that case, can you post a screenshot ? Here https://github.com/spacecowboy/NotePad/blob/master/documents/TUTORIAL.md#widgets I show how it's supposed to look like |
No, that's due to bad wording in the settings screen. "max height of notes, in rows" means that, if you have a very long note, let's say with 1000 words, with that slider you can choose to display only the first 3 lines, for example. So it decides how much content is displayed in the list of the widget, for each note. Raising it to the maximum value lets you see 99 rows of each note. It does not affect the text size in any way. Now, I have 2 questions for you:
|
1. "Viewable Notes To Display - move slider to max to show all"
2. I would say 150 percent; and that would be a guess. But is there a way you could either make a font size slider or have it match up with the font sizes we choose in the app? I did notice the size in the app is a good size for me; and I set the font size to large in the appearance settings of the app.
I appreciate you taking the time to hear my issue. Thanks

1. the label of that slider was not clear. Can you recomment a new
description for that slider, so that its function is more intuitive ?
Then I will replace the original description
2. You think the font size in the widget is too small. Since I never
received feedback from anyone else, I can raise the font size to
something you prefer. If it's a small change, I will definitely do it.
So, how big would you like the text to be ? Give me a number in % of
the original size, where 200% means that I make it twice as big.

I will rename the label of the slider in the widget settings, I will close this issue when I release the next app version with the edits you recommended. |
Ok. Thanks for doing this. |
Great app for lists, notes, and reminders! I don't know if I am missing where to resize the text in the widget but would like to. Thanks
