Also publicize what the criteria for choosing the award winner is? Part of me wonders if it's a little bit echo-chamber-y from what you described (you choose someone who's done impactful work, but that works needs to be supported by R2RC in some way), which means the award is always going to be going toward someone we've already been supporting ... if that makes sense.
