How can I delete a participant ?

How can I delete a participant from a group ?
I see a little trash icon, but it's greyed out.

The participant probably is still in debt in the group. Try balancing the debt and delete the participant again. (:

I'm completely new to spliit.app, so take this with a grain of salt.

Firstly, I'm not sure if the question is how to remove a person's name from the list of participant or how to stop them getting access.

If it's the access question, since there's no login, anyone with the link to the group can access and modify everything. (Since this is a major security question, please correct me if I'm wrong here.)

If it's a question of removing a person's name from the list, it's not enough to just balance the debt, they actually have to be removed from every transaction they're part of to be able to be removed. An interesting improvement could be to be able to disable a settled-up participant, so they don't appear in the lists for future transactions. (If that's already a feature and I didn't see it, please let me know 🙂)
