Thank you for taking the time to view my GitHub Sponsors page. I am a self-taught developer who has spent the last 20 years crafting my trade. I have had a very fortunate and successful career and I'm using this platform to help progress and fund the further development of my open source projects.

But, I need your help! πŸ™πŸ»

When I launched 🐊 Afrigator, a very successful but ahead-of-its-time social media aggregator, way back in 2007; I was wet behind the ears and didn't have much experience. Without open source projects we would not have been able to launch or become successful, and it was because of this experience that my passion for open source developed.

Through Afrigator I realised how critical the sharing of ideas, knowledge, and code is for the advancement of projects and businesses and I've been sharing my code ever since. I want to continue giving back what was so freely given to me and this is where you πŸ‘«πŸ½ come in!

I need help funding my technology costs. Contributing and sharing freely does, unfortunately, cost money and I'm looking to bridge the financial gap. My goal is to get $500 per month to cover these costs and I've created a range of sponsorship packages to help make this a reality. Please consider supporting my efforts through a small monthly donation.

To help convince you, I want to share some key facts about my open source efforts.

  • I've been sharing my code on GitHub since 11 April 2011.
  • I am an Arctic Code Vault Contributor, which preserves open source software for future generations, for my contributions on github/gitignore, docsifyjs/docsify, citation-style-language/styles, and more!
  • Active member of the GitHub Developer Program.
  • I contribute to 46 public and private repositories under @justinhartman.
  • I work on 4 public repositories under @22digital.
  • My popular repositories are highlighted below but please check out my personal site for more info about what I've been involved in.

If you have made it this far, I congratulate you πŸ‘ ! I realise parting with money is not an easy decision but really, any amount helps.

@justinhartman

My goal is to get to $500 so I can cover my server and technology costs. This way I will be empowered to continue building open-source products without having to worry about funding it from my pocket. Freedom comes at a cost, and I would be grateful for any grace offered. ❀️
