Hidy ho, I am a long-time free and open source developer, having spent time in the FreeBSD, Puppet, Ruby, and Jenkins communities. These days I find myself mostly building automation and data ingestion services in Rust.
In my free and open source travels I have:
- Helped create and steward Delta Lake for Rust and a number of related Rust and Python data tools.
- Created JRuby/Gradle, a toolkit for combining Ruby and Java build toolchains.
- Built Jenkins Evergreen, a now defunct experiment in delivering automatic updates for Jenkins environments.
- Once upon a time I helped automate the Jenkins project's infrastructure, an effort which has since been taken over by many more capable developers!
GitHub Sponsorship helps remind me that people do appreciate all the open source work that I do in my (fleeting!) spare time. 🤗
