Description of your problem

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Using the default keyboard shortcut Ctrl + Alt + V pastes the text with a V at the end of it
  2. I tried changing the shortcut in Preferences -> Keyboard Shortcuts to Ctrl + V and it just pastes ^V
  3. I tried changing the shortcut to Shft + Ctrl + V and it pastes the text twice
  4. I tried changing the shortcut to Alt + V and the text pastes correctly but also opens the View menu

I would like to change the keyboard shortcut to Ctrl + V and have the text paste correctly.
