Sounds like you're trying to connect as the OS user you're running as. How did you set up Postgres? |

Trying to make it through the postgres tutorial. Not able to move beyond this.
$ createdb flipr_test
createdb: error: could not connect to database template1: local user with ID 1000 does not exist
