We will have instances of multiple linguistic expressions of the same conceptual work (e.g., Syriac and Greek expressions). We have decided to create separate testimonia records for each expression. a few considerations:

  1. How will we connect together the two testimonia? Normalize and enhance related subjects data to prepare for publication #183 will include linking between related testimonia, which we could do here as well. But we may want more explicit acknowledgement of the expression-to-expression relationship.
  2. At the very least, this decision to treat linguistic expressions as distinct records should be documented
  3. What will titles look like for expressions? Do we need to append, e.g., "(Syriac version)" to the end of the title?

  1. leave as related texts, like we do in Normalize and enhance related subjects data to prepare for publication #183 for now.
  2. yes, we should document this
  3. We will use "[Syriac version]", "[Greek version]"
