@davidamichelson I know we talked about this (apparently a year ago!), but I don't remember why we were changing ed to edRef. Do you remember what this was about? |
@jedwardwalters I can't remember either but here is the distinction, can you point me to an example? http://www.tei-c.org/release/doc/tei-p5-doc/en/html/ref-att.edition.html ed¶ | (edition) supplies a sigil or other arbitrary identifier for the source edition in which the associated feature (for example, a page, column, or line break) occurs at this point in the text. edRef¶ | (edition reference) provides a pointer to the source edition in which the associated feature (for example, a page, column, or line break) occurs at this point in the text. |
