Would it be possible to add "format" in the list of properties (as a string) ? Could then be used to encode the $.properties.productInformation.format from https://docs.ogc.org/is/17-003r2/17-003r2.html#table_22. Is useful for collections as well.

@ycespb Can you clarify what that field is meant to contain?

Native product format.

The description ir pretty ambiguous. Is that the media type? We have that for assets (type), so not so sure about this.

The actual values used not always match with a media type, or a media type is not precise enough. Here an example (OGC 10-157r4) from an ESA GOCE collection (GOCE_Level_2): eop:nativeProductFormatGO-MA-HPF-GS-0110</eop:nativeProductFormat>. Other example (GOCE_Level_1): eop:nativeProductFormatGO-ID-ACS-GS-0109</eop:nativeProductFormat> . Other example where the media type does not give much info is .tar.gz (https://superuser.com/questions/901962/what-is-the-correct-mime-type-for-a-tar-gz-file).
