This is the first release with packages signed with the new GPG key as part of Datadog’s key rotation.
The script upload_new_vector_version.sh downloads the Vector packages from https://packages.timber.io/vector/. These packages are not signed and therefore the script cannot verify the signature. But there also exists a YUM repository containing packages signed with the mentioned key. It could be beneficial to switch to this repository.

This version emits an internal event ID (see https://www.github.com/vectordotdev/vector/pull/21074). A Vector aggregator with version 0.41.0 expects this event ID on the Vector source, otherwise an error is thrown (see https://www.github.com/vectordotdev/vector/issues/21252). This bug will be fixed in version 0.41.1 (see https://www.github.com/vectordotdev/vector/pull/21257). We can use version 0.41.0 as agent and as aggregator without any problems.
