I'm happy to take this one on if @breckbaldwin thinks it's a good idea. @bgoodri in the past has said that CRAN's a fine resource for finding things that depend on Stan and we don't need these links. @ariddell -- is there anything for this list in Python? If so, you can just add bullet points by editing the issue or just comment and I'll get them in. My only concern is that we clearly mark the ones supported by the Stan project. |
Sounds fine to me. Though I wouldn't bother listing packages which do not appear to be actively maintained. For Python the only big one that comes to mind is Facebook's Prophet, https://research.fb.com/prophet-forecasting-at-scale/ |
I only want to list ones we can vouch for, like Prophet and brms and rethinking.
|
Who is doing the vouching?

I'm not proposing a heavy process---I'm OK with anything any of the devs think should be added. We're not supplying guarantees, just links.
|
For R, I would prefer a link to
https://cran.r-project.org/package=rstan
which mentions the 50 packages that are in some way related to Stan without
trying to discriminate among them.

what is the status of this issue? |
Now that we added a ScalaStan link from our users/interfaces page, we can add the rest of the high-profile interfaces to Stan.
The big qustion is how to marke these interfaces as ones that the Stan project itself doesn't maintain. I tried to do that with the ScalaStan section in the current (as of this feature request) interfaces page.
I think we should include at least these two packages:
