Hi
I've been using bold editor and seems like there is a bug that is really annoying to me.
These are the steps to reproduce:

  1. Create a new note
  2. Select bold editor
  3. change font to a different than monospace which is the default
  4. start typing
  5. press (Enter) and continue typing, the font will be again changed in a unexptected way to monospace again.

Note: in addition, is there a way to change the default font for bold editor? I've seen more comments about it, it looks like monospace is not well accepted as a default font. Personally I feel like it takes much space and is really annoying.

Thanks in advance!

Hey @Delight1001, I've tried reproducing this issue with those replication steps, but seems I'm unable to replicate this on my own end. What OS are you using Standard Notes on? Any chance of a screen recording?

No way to select a default font for specific editors right now, but we may add this in the future.

On linux I can't replicate the error either.

Version in use: 3.9.20 Linux-x86_64 (AppImage)
Operating System: Ubuntu 20.04

Tried this on Debian now, but still not seeing a way to replicate. Try selecting all when you start a note with ctrl + A and then changing fonts to your desired one. Let me know if this issue happens then as well.
