Syntax highlighting in Code Editor is illegible

On any dark theme on the Code Editor with Shell as the language, several pieces of text are illegible due to the high contrast. This makes the editor impossible to use with a dark theme.

There is no such issue on the light themes:

Doing some looking around, I found this issue from 2018, standardnotes/code-editor#9, which seems to be the same issue.
