[UI/UX] Alternate performer grid view mode with landscape cards

Researching elegant sites that are functional I am seeing they do not include every detail and the kitchen sink into their design. Just for fun I have been playing with a concept for an alternate grid view mode that puts more emphasis on details, but tries to stay clean without nerding out too much.

Purpose:
As we aggregate more and more performers I think others may also be realizing that to differentiate them all we may need to display a bit more information on the performer card than a portrait card can handle. This is my concept to present elegant landscape performer cards that display an additional amount of information without inundating the ui with data. I consider it a medium between portrait grid view and detail view.

Landscape card structure:

  • Left column:
    • 
    • Background: {performer image}
    • Top left corner: {rating}
      • Rating top corner, this is influenced by trakt.tv; discrete; uses an area thats always empty
  • Right column:
    • 
    • {primary performer name}
      • Purposely omitted the disambiguation field. I do not think it is necessary when showing an avatar, aliases, and studios.
    • {age} — {aliases} — {studios}
      • age: displays age if applicable
      • aliases: displays aliases, 3 max; additional alias count displayed as n+
      • studios: displays associated studios from local library, 3 max; additional studio count displayed as n+
      • div is truncated after 4 lines
    • badge icons/buttons: {favorite icon} {circular country icon} {etc}
    • stash popover buttons
