While the tutorial case is perfectly fine for generating a beautiful static driver file, actually running it might run into problems due to mismatch of soil/surface types under bridges.

solved prerequisites:

  • get information on state of the art setting of soil_types, vegetation/pavement/water-types for bridges and overhanging strucutres (building_type=7?)
  • perform test runs
  • update documentation and add guidance on how to handle bridges
