Offset reversal automation never worked for me

I cannot remember having it seen working ever, with FS22, FS19, FS17.

So I dare to ask:
is this feature even implemented?

I manually turn at the edge of a field and then press "Alt + X" to re-enable the guidance, because it gets turned off when manually turning.
Is this the reason?

Does "Offset reversal" only work when a field track is created?

As there is no keybind for manual reversing the offset as well, I only have the possibility to open the UI, click "Offset reversal" and close the UI.

I don't get your point here? Automatic Offset reversal was working in FS19 and it is in FS22, just turn it on in the settings menu.
