Hi Ben,

this is slightly related to issue #270 - but for Transit.

I am using Transit to save presets of multiple modules (say a complete subharmonicon via SlimeChilds Substation) to recall them later via Midi Program Change. In addition I would like to change mapped parameters via midi as well. Since dual mapping via X4 would need around 20 X4-Modules I thought that a Midi-Expander for Transit could be useful. I imagine essentially a Midi-CAT which has Midi-I/O and the mapped parameters of transit already listed which then could be assigned via Midi-Learn.
In addition the Expander could receive Program Change from the same midi-device and switch Transits Presets (as an alternative option to the CV-Input on Transit).

Thanks for the latest update!

I'm not very convinced of the idea to have an actual expander with MIDI functionality (as already implemented in MIDI-CAT) but I can imagine a simple expander for exposing the parameters to MIDI-CAT:
It would be a simple 1 or 2HP expander with no actual parameters on the panel but providing 128 parameters internally which can be mapped by MIDI-CAT using "Map module (left)".
