Istio queston

Hi gang,

I noticed in the README.md, you mention that Istio is not integrated with your work. It appears as though its described as a feature, rather than a limitation ;)

I get not wanting to accept heavy dependencies on your work. Can you elaborate as to your thinking about Istio?
