or should I grant a write permission on https://github.com/sustainable-computing-io/kepler/blame/c8ed7eb14d6db3c2c1e7506cda83c962dccea998/.github/workflows/pre-commit-auto-update.yml ?

sorry my bad - it does need write permissions or a PAT as per here: https://github.com/peter-evans/create-pull-request?tab=readme-ov-file#token
