Unfortunately, it is not currently possible. It seems like a simple feature at first, but when looking at the details I can say that this will require quite a lot of work to implement. One reason is that I can use Excel's inline strings for regular strings, but it looks like this will require the use of shared strings instead. Another reason is that there needs to be some kind of API to construct text like this (and other forms of styling), which will require some foresight. I'll keep the issue open as a reminder.
