Can't seem to install VSCode extension on Ubuntu

When I install the extension and use ctrl + shift + p to view Developer: Show Logs... > Extension Host, I get the following error:

I'm not sure if there is something I am doing wrong or there is an issue with my VSCode setup.

I think you have stumbled across a use case I've never considered... Are you using VSCode without a folder open in the workspace?
Opening just a single file I was able to reproduce your error

If that's true, then you should be able to open the file's parent folder rather than the file directly as a workaround for now while waiting for a proper fix 🙂

Opening the docs folder worked, thanks! I'll switch to using workspaces. I mostly use Nvim, but support folks who use VSCode so still getting familiar with "best practices".
