Using the user's email as the user's unique identifier (we're not using usernames), if the user goes to edit their profile and changes their email, it logs them out.
Is this a known issue and/or is there a way around this (like logging someone in at the same time as the profile is edited)?
Cheers

It's a known issue (although to be fair, not documented AFAIK).
I think it could be overcome as there is similar logic in place for the Members: Reset Password event that will maintain a member's session (well it actually just creates a new one behind the scenes), it's just a case of how to provide this functionality.
Should it be automatic that if it's changed the session is maintained? Should it be a setting (I feel like there's a setting for everything :() Should they even be able to change the email/username once it's added?
