Support for other currencies (USD in our case)?

This is probably more of a feature request - we are looking at this extension in combination with CiviOffice to develop a receipting mechanism for contributions (this is to automatically generate and send tax-compliant 501(c)(3) donation receipts immediately upon payment). However, one of the stated limitations is that the extension is hard-coded for EUR... Are there plans to make currencies selectable via the currencies option list in order to make it more flexible? Thanks for your great work!

Have you tested whether it's actually hard-coded for EUR? I know it is listed in the restrictions, but it might have already been fixed along the way. Would you mind giving it a go and outlining here where it goes wrong?
