I'm taking a look - and I know trainthrasher is - I also really want this working so I can make some custom gadgets I have in mind.

Looking further at this, it appears that a second prefab is needed - one which represents the item on the shelf. For now I'm adapting to reuse the main item prefab - not sure what might break with that...

This is resolved - it should have gotten resolved with the merge of #9
