Firstly just wanna say both your youtube scripts (this one and the subtitles under video one) have been exactly what I had been trying to make myself in my free time except unlike myself you appear to actually know what you're doing lol...

So awesome job on that front aaand I just wanted to suggest a further extension of this, if desirable and/or bored and want to try doing this of course:

would it be possible to additionally include sticky "read more/read less" button functionality within the comments section for longer comments and/or have comment headers (author, time posted, avatar) additionally become sticky for this same purpose of convenience/viewport-contained context in reading longer comments?

I've tried to use your code here as a template to implement this myself, however as noted at the beginning I have no idea what I'm doing and thus have been able to successfully add only superfluous code as a result lol.

Leaked unedited footage of my attempt coding this:

working hard or...am dog?

JS alchemy

Obviously feel free to totally not do this as it's likely a pretty niche desire of convenience, but in any case, thank you!

Give me some links to very long comments (though I didn't find how to link a comment directly), so I will see if this fits me.
