Request the full-view be more dynamic. Possibly as a percentage of the frame and maybe even 95%. Helps to reduce whitespace on large displays.

Are you sure that this modification will be usable with widescreen displays? I'm a bit afraid that we'll also need to move all active elements to one side of the screen so that the user does not need to constantly move his mouse left-and-right.

I understand that. I know I move many of my elements over to one side of a window anyway (XFCE user here). I just notice on a wider screen, there is much more white space. That annoys me more than having to move my mouse over, but I also use the keyboard shortcuts. Finally, I am not a UI expert. I just migrated over to this application from a terminal based rss reader.
