error when running kubectl kustomize overlays/dev #3

I just try Kustomise today so maybe I misunderstood something

kubectl kustomize overlays/prod
kubectl kustomize overlays/generators

Work fine but

kubectl kustomize overlays/dev

output

error: loading KV pairs: file sources: [index-dev.html]: 
evalsymlink failure on 'kustomize/overlays/dev/index-dev.html' :
 lstat /kustomize/overlays/dev/index-dev.html: no such file or directory
