Develop documentation for GitHub Issues on how to log hours - if there is a custom field in GitHub or a GitHub integration to a user-friendly time tracking program (a browser extension?), use this to log hours.

An excellent option! Works great and I see there are webhook options for collecting the hours somewhere where these can get reported. Huge thanks @jimmcgaw, this will be greatly helpful for documenting time spent and for the documentation on this that we should add.
