The most common expression is Roll20 at https://wiki.roll20.net/Dice_Reference

Question: does this repo follow the standard, and if not, would modifying be easy?

Side note: there are open source options like:

If following Roll20 is imposible, it might be good to collaborate and standardize the notations.
