A version 1.0 release should be made once the codebase is considered stable and all expected features have been implemented, with testing having been performed to ensure adequate performance

  • Decide what features are needed for a 1.0 release
  • Plan timeline for release
  • Code finished
  • Testing performed
  • Release posted
