  • Calculate bias in mean length
  • Calculate precision in mean length
  • Average sampling error for mean length
  • Adequacy of coverage of length distribution

I attempted calculating the performance metrics for mean length. It has been added as 04c-PM-mean-length.Rmd under R\sumflounder with commit 6c8138e.

I am currently stuck on how to calculate the bias and precision if I do not have an assumed true average length from our operating model to make my comparison. I can't recall if we talked about where to find this in our simulated population and survey object. Could you point me in the right direction? Also, I cannot recall from our meeting, if I needed to use the stratified abundance index formulas for the mean length calculation, though I used them in the linked script anyways.

Data is attached if you would like to run the code in the script.
