prefers-color-scheme causing site to look messed up

The use of !important in the stylesheet for prefers-color-scheme: dark causes my site to look pretty bad.

The important tags are overriding text and backgrounds on elements that were custom designed.

It would be good to have an option to enable/disable this feature as not all components of a theme have been designed with this feature in mind, and the !important is really making it hard to adjust.

For more context, I'm using Elementor and I can't even change the colors of certain text because the !important is overriding it.
