Describe the bug
The mega menu does not close when a user clicks outside of it, but only when the triggering element, e.g. a button is clicked again.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to the Flowbite Docs for the full-width mega menu: https://flowbite.com/docs/components/mega-menu/#full-width-dropdown
  2. Click on "Company" menu item - the mega menu opens
  3. Click on anywhere where there is a an empty space outside the mega menu, e.g. to the left of "Home"

Expected behavior
The mega menu should close because it's the expected behavior.
Desktop (please complete the following information):

  • OS: MacOS
  • Browser: Chrome (130), Safari (18.1), probably others

Smartphone (please complete the following information):

  • Device: [e.g. iPhone6]
  • OS: [e.g. iOS8.1]
  • Browser [e.g. stock browser, safari]

Additional context
All other mega menu examples (non-full-width) do close as expected when clicking outside of them.

Hi @jbwl Any progress on this issue? I also came across similar issue when using this mega-full-menu in an Angular application.

@ENate Hi, sorry, not that I'm aware of. I have actually moved on from Flowbite because it's not yet ready for a no-build Rails 8 environment.
