[1.5] Announcement: Feature Freeze

Any requests for new features targetting the 1.5 branch/release should be made prior to May 29th. All requests made on or after May 29th will be slated for 2.0 instead.

This is primarily because development of 2.0 has already begun and it's a major pain to accurately port changes into that branch given all the refactoring that's been going on there. I'd like to keep the focus on getting the final batch of changes into 1.5, implementing any forward-compatibility changes per #475, and releasing 1.5 so we can resume focus on the 2.0 release for this summer 😎
