Twitter links to Crater.io are invalid

I don't know if this is relevant to crater.io specifically but it seems that as of late, any time I click on a link tweeted by crater.io (that leads to the crater.io website) it doesnt work.

example of an invalid url from twitter:
https://crater.io/out?url=http://www.1pxsolidtomato.com/2015/03/25/materialize-highs-and-lows&utm_content=buffer19330&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_campaign=buffer

but on the other hand, I clicked a link pointing to github and it worked just fine.
