Issues with teams & committees page

Current teams & committees page was built by me but there are many design issues which needs to be attended. I'm listing down some feedbacks that I gathered from Slack & Discord:

• Have a way to show WCT China team in the teams-committees page.
• Currently, when we open the page, the first team will be shown. Instead, it will be better if the default page is something like "All teams & committees" which will list all the present members, and other pages still exist. So, if another team/committee is selected from dropdown or sidebar, that team's current members and past members will also be shown.
• A search button to search for a particular person and the roles they've held would be cool.
• There isn't any order to the past roles items
• People show up multiple times instead of consolidating their multiple roles into a single item
• Prefers the much denser design than spacious design as more information can be seen on the screen at once
• It seems arbitrary that the starting dates of current members are not listed
• The current members should be sub-organized in order of tenure within level (leader, longest tenure senior members, shortest tenure senior members, longest tenure regular members, shortest tenure regular members)
• The role of user is very far from the name in desktop view
• Some sort of accordion for each team/committee may be good
• A timeline chart like this would be a great way to present the information at a glance in a way that de-duplicates a lot of the information and makes it much, much faster to parse all the information

I may not have missed some points, really sorry if I missed some. Feel free to comment your point below.

Hi @lnzainn There are no reasons why past members are not visible to public. The reason why this was implemented was to check how was the response. But overall people were not so happy with it especially because they are not able to see all current members in single page.

Thanks for your interest on this, I would suggest to start with having a page where all active members are listed in single page like earlier. Please let me know if you face any difficulties.
