We currently have 20+ tests we would like to import into state rather than have them recreated, is this possible to add?

We are doing a PoC, and noticed same behaviour. The ability to import an existing test into the state is essential to make the provider operational.

Hey @Jamie-Leon and thanks for reporting this. I'll create an issue on our side to take a look at this when possible.

And yeah, I do agree that this feature is essential.
